As referenced previously in our article (Does Contra Costa County Have eFiling?), Contra Costa Superior Court is taking the next step in implementing E-Filing. After previously expanding their number of approved Electronic Filing Service Providers, the court is now mandating Electronic Filing for all case types effective July 5.

It’s likely that the increased access to and subsequent use of E-Filing demonstrated its obvious advantages, which pushed the court to accelerate their incorporation of E-Filing in turn. Contra Costa currently permissibly accepts E-Filing through any one of their approved providers, but come July 5, E-Filing will become mandatory.

Rest assured, Legal Document Server is one of Contra Costa Superior Court’s approved providers. E-Filing with the court is already available on our system. If you have any questions or concerns about the court’s order, feel free to contact us at su*****@le*****************.com or at (800) 687-5003.
